The rear bumper provides optimum protection from the rear, offers a good standing area and can be equipped with a square insert for towing a trailer with a trailer load of up to 3.5t (applies to Switzerland). Since the rear bumper offers a flat design, the rear angle of departure is still well suited for off-road use. If a TJM off-road chassis is also installed, inserts with ball lowering are used (the D value must be observed here) so that the ball height prescribed by law is observed.
